Cache Development Program

CERT equipment caches are essential to communities with active programs. Caches are structures used to stock pile first aid supplies, and other items needed by teams to provide an effective response in times of disaster or emergency. AVERT will endeavor to procure and distribute these structures and donated materials to active CERTs.

Donations "in kind" may be made to this program. If you wish to contribute equipment or supplies, send us a list of what you wish to donate. We will estimate the value which you may claim on your taxes, and confirm receipt of the materials in writing for your records.

Public Information Programs

AVERT's Community Relations Committee produces Brochures and pamphlets with information about disaster preparedness, the CERT program and emergency response. These are available for public events with a minimal charge to cover printing costs. The Team Support Committee maintains this web site and posts preparedness and recovery information for the public, administrative, training and material resources for CERTs, and enabling and other corporate documents for other organizations to modify for their incorporation. Team Support also maintains a special site for the Utah Strategic National Stockpile Program.
