A RESOLUTION TO THE AVERT BOARD OF TRUSTEES FROM THE CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR CONFERRING HONORARY MEMBERSHIP UPON OUTGOING TRUSTEES ;

WHEREAS, Rick Hanley, Jim Bjarnson, and Liana Lund have volunteered their time and skills in the furtherance of the AVERT Corporation and the CERT Program in general, and

WHEREAS, the aforementioned people have submitted resignations of their positions as Trustees of the Corporation, and

WHEREAS, the Corporation recognizes the selfless contributions of these people in the incorporation and organization processes, and

WHEREAS, the Corporation may confer Honorary Membership Status upon any person or organization that has provided outstanding service to the Corporation as stated in the Bylaws.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the AVERT Board of Trustees confer the status of "Honorary Member" upon Rick W. Hanley, Jim Bjarnson and Liana Lund and, that these Honorary Members be invited and encouraged to continue their affiliation with the AVERT Corporation and their respective Community or Business Teams by becoming Team Leaders and promoting the Corporation through recruitment of General Members.
